Sergio García-Nieto started in 1998 the bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering until 2001, at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). He moved to Germany to work at the Fluidmechanik und Prozessautomation Institut (Technische Universitët München) as researcher in automation techniques for High Pressure Process. After one year in Germany, he came back to Valencia and received the B. Sc. and Ph.D. degree from the UPV in Control Automation Engineer in 2004 and 2010 respectively. Since 2007, he works as Assistant Professor at the Systems Engineering and Control Department (UPV).
