The main scientific objective of the ROMOTOOLS project is to develop optimization tools to address problems with uncertainties. The case of energy management is a clear example of this type of systems. The main technological objective of this project is to make these energy management systems more intelligent, so that, if they handle more technical information (fuel cell power, electrical performance, degradation rate, cell response time , heater performance, size of the hot water tank) and economic (price of electricity, predictions of demand for electrical and thermal energy, among others), can make better decisions when faced with the different problems that may arise. To validate the developments, the ai2 Institute team will simulate the model against the typical electrical and thermal energy demand profiles in different domestic installations for a full year. The management of all this data and the uncertainty present in the system, especially in demand predictions, is the basis on which the team will work, which will look for new management algorithms to achieve a robust system and, therefore, with good performance. functioning.
